Leung Kwan (played by Zhang Jiahui) is a low-level police officer who has repeatedly worked as an undercover agent in small roles. When he is feeling unfulfilled, the chief suddenly assigns him to investigate the notorious gambler Ferrari (played by Wang Jing), which boosts Kwan's confidence. One day, Kwan accompanies his girlfriend Pizza (played by Kwan Siu Mei) to a banquet organized by his sister (played by Ng Kam Hung) for his brother-in-law, the big gambler Master Huang (played by Stephen Chow), during his brief release from prison. Kwan displays an arrogant attitude at the banquet and ends up being pranked by Master Huang, which leaves him harboring resentment. Kwan goes undercover around Ferrari and unexpectedly encounters his beautiful first love (played by Lin Xi Lei) on the beach, becoming infatuated with her beauty. Kwan believes he has gained Ferrari's trust, but before he can find any evidence of crime, he falls into the trap set by his first love, almost losing his job.
