Walter (voiced by Peter Linz) and Gary (played by Jason Segel) are a pair of deeply bonded brothers, the difference being that Walter is a Muppet who will never grow tall, while Gary is a normal human. As time passes, Gary grows up, getting his own job and love, while Walter maintains a childlike heart; his favorite show is the Muppet show that airs on television, even though it has been off the air for many years, he remains a loyal fan.
