Cassandra (played by Carey Mulligan) was once a promising top student in medical school but chose to drop out after her friend's suicide. During the day, Cassandra works part-time at a café, but when night falls, she dons a sexy outfit and frequents the city's nightlife spots. She pretends to be drunk, waiting for some "good" man to take her home, allowing her to carry out her harmless revenge on men. One day, Cassandra reunites with an old classmate, Ryan (played by Bo Burnham), who begins to ardently pursue her. Ryan's appearance rekindles Cassandra's memories of the tragic experience during her school days, and when she learns that the culprits behind her friend's death are now living fulfilling lives, the flames of revenge grow stronger within her.
