The assassination of Kennedy has become a historical mystery in America. The film reexamines that period of history, questioning whether the assassin was an ordinary person or part of a vast political conspiracy. The truth and the illusion gradually reveal their clues during the investigation. During the two hours after the president's assassination, the officially identified murderer was arrested: Lee Harvey Oswald. However, coincidentally, within the following hour, this suspect was swiftly killed by a thug. After the investigation, officials still asserted that Lee Harvey Oswald was the true culprit. However, three years later, an American district attorney named Jim Garrison (played by Kevin Costner) discovered anomalies surrounding Kennedy's shooting, leading him to speculate that the official assessment was mistaken, and his investigation entangles a shocking historical conspiracy.
