Famous novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead in a mysterious suicide at his estate the day after his 85th birthday, leaving behind a billion-dollar inheritance. Renowned detective Benoit Blanc (played by Daniel Craig) is suddenly hired by an anonymous person to investigate the truth behind the case.
