Another Christmas is approaching. After being forgotten at home and missing the Christmas vacation last year, Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) is preparing to go to Florida with his family to enjoy their Christmas holiday. Careless mom and dad won't forget to bring Kevin this time, but they still haven't changed their forgetful nature. As the plane is about to take off, the family rushes to the airport. This time Kevin isn't left behind at home, but he is forgotten at the airport during check-in and accidentally boards a flight to New York! Arriving in this completely unfamiliar big city for the first time, the clever and mischievous Kevin can’t help but feel scared. To make matters worse, he runs into the two bumbling thieves he badly defeated in the last movie. Having just escaped from prison, they bump into Kevin and, of course, want to exact revenge. Thus, Kevin's battleground shifts from his home in the last movie to the Central Park Hotel and Toys "R" Us in New York!
