This film is based on the classic Canadian movie "La Guerre des Tuques" (The Dog That Stopped the War) released in 1984, which created a sensation when it premiered 30 years ago, released in over 125 countries worldwide, and won 18 global awards. "The Snow Battle" is also the first Canadian animated film introduced in China, and it was the box office champion for Canadian films in 2015. The movie tells the story of a group of children living in a small town in Canada. As winter break approaches, to pass the time, a boy named Luke and a girl named Sophia, who has just moved to the town, become leaders of opposing factions and agree to a large-scale snowball fight. The scale of the snowball fight continuously escalates due to provocations and misunderstandings between the two groups of children, eventually evolving into a snow fortress defense battle, leading to an unexpected incident. This incident ultimately stops the children's war and makes them realize their mistakes, discovering the true essence of play: that friendship and happiness are the goals of games. Consequently, all the children awaken and grow throughout this process.
