An accident causes the Devil's Mirror to shatter and scatter across the world. A small shard unfortunately falls into the eyes of a little boy named Kai (Jeremy Guilbaut). Due to the shard's magic, Kai’s personality begins to change, and everything in the world appears hideous to him. As a result, he distances himself from his friends and family, shutting himself off emotionally. One day, the Snow Queen (Bridget Fonda) appears and takes the reclusive Kai back to her kingdom.
