It starts simply, a married woman meets a single man, they fall in love, argue, and cry. A dog wanders through the city and the countryside. Time flies. The man finds the woman. The dog meets them. Then a third character appears. The ex-husband ruins everything. The second part of the film begins, similar yet different from the first part. Humanity becomes a metaphor. It ends with the sound of a dog barking and a baby crying. —— From @快雪时晴's translation of Godard's manuscript "Goodbye Language"
