Ganglamedo is a flower, a painting, a song, a bar, and a woman's name in Tibet; Ganglamedo is a poignant and beautiful love story of searching and missing that has been passed down for more than half a century. On her first night in Lhasa, the beautiful and aloof sound engineer An Yu inadvertently stays at the home of the Tibetan drummer Aza, leading to a strange romantic connection. After suddenly losing her voice and quietly disappearing from the music scene, the famous female singer who once became a household name with the song "Ganglamedo," has become a sound engineer, transitioning from a singer of sounds to a recorder and listener of sounds. She is summoned by a song from Tibet, a mirage by the lakeside, and stubbornly travels to the distant sacred lake in Tibet to find that mysterious voice, recording the celestial sounds of the Tibetan land along the way, embarking on a musical pilgrimage filled with mystery and the unknown. The drum player Aza, who travels with her and possesses a magical charm, constantly creates tension and friction with her. They both carry their dreams and intentions, repeatedly coming together and drifting apart, struggling to coexist yet unable to let go, unknowingly having their fates intertwined by the name "Ganglamedo." Women are melodies; men are rhythms. The encounter and companionship of a modern couple from two different ethnicities, with differing personalities, life paths, and dreams, weave together a beautiful and moving symphony, inadvertently depicting a love story similar to the fates of the older generation—a tale of seeking and missing, with the melody of "Ganglamedo" continuing to echo across Tibet's snow-capped mountains and grasslands... http://ent.sina.com.cn/m/c/f/glmd/index.html
