A-B (played by Lee Siu-Hsin) is an undercover cop living with his mother in a small, old apartment. He is passionate and bold in his investigations, which opens the eyes of his new colleague A-Jie (played by Eddie). A-Jie is very different from A-B and only wants to pass the exam to get promoted to an officer. A-B suppresses two big shots, Xiaohong and Hongfan, who live in the upper and lower villages, and buys multiple tips from A-Cheng (played by Tai-Po), a drug dealer under Hongfan. A-B gains valuable information about crimes, leading to recognition for both himself and A-Jie, strengthening their friendship. Soon, A-Cheng, suffering from drug addiction, makes a grave mistake and is beaten to death by Xiaohong and Hongfan. A-B investigates the cause of A-Cheng’s death and traces it back to Xiaohong, but inadvertently pushes himself into a corner, forcing Xiaohong to take desperate measures, leaving both police and criminals with no choice...
