After the death of his beloved, the assassin O (Takeshi Kaneshiro) completely isolates himself in a secure and hidden location, where his life is reduced to killing and loneliness. However, when Chin, a naive girl who resembles his ex-girlfriend, arrives to clean the place he hired, his heart is opened again, although the two have never met. Tok (Andy Lau), who craves the thrill of killing and aims to become the top professional assassin, intends to force O out of hiding and reveal O's true identity to Chin. Experienced Interpol officer Lee (Danny Lee) has been tracking O for over five years. Under the dual pressure from Tok and Lee, O is forced to seek help from his superior, C7. Unbeknownst to O, C7 is linked to Tok, who is the sharpshooter brother that Lee exposed as having gone missing after the Olympics. He will be rescued this time because Tok is pressuring C7; however, Tok's true intention is to engage in a life-and-death duel with him.
