Veteran NYPD detective Jimmy (Bruce Willis) firmly believes that silence is golden and approaches his cases meticulously. He has a black partner, Paul (Tracy Morgan), who has just been promoted to detective and believes that with Obama as President, he has more authority. Not only does he boss around petty criminals, but he also shows a lack of respect towards the veteran detective. When a valuable baseball card from 1952 is stolen, Jimmy and Paul team up for the investigation. However, this time the trouble seems more complicated. During their inquiry, a series of cases emerge, including the kidnapping of a Mexican beauty and a drug deal involving gangsters. This duo hasn't faced major challenges before, making this situation feel daunting. Additionally, they both experience personal issues: Jimmy inexplicably loses a large sum of money intended for his daughter's wedding, while Paul, looking like a clueless goose, is suspected of infidelity by his wife. These problems create significant stress for both men as they struggle to solve the case while simultaneously trying to explain their innocence to their families, driving them nearly insane…
