This thought-provoking coming-of-age comedy tells the story of a high school student who has no life goals and spends his days hanging out with girls and practicing Muay Thai, aspiring to win over a wealthy, academically outstanding girl from his class, which he ultimately does. The tale of a poor boy pursuing a rich girl has long been a cliché, but the success of this film lies in its effective portrayal of the rich girl’s father. He cares for his daughter meticulously, playing both mother and father roles, and approves of her extraordinary choice, appearing to be a good father. However, the truth is quite the opposite: he is a con artist who tricks the elderly for their money, evades taxes from the government, and deceives his daughter who has always trusted him. The director instills a serious theme here—how to choose between the two most precious things in human relationships, "love" and "trust," under specific circumstances. The film’s excellent dialogue and the outstanding performances of the actors are worth seeing.
