The story takes place during the reign of Emperor Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty. Minister Ji Xiantang (played by Ge Cunzhuang) is extremely favored by the emperor, making him particularly arrogant and reckless. He sets his sights on the daughter of Deputy General He Qi, He Yufeng (played by Ding Lan), intending to take her as his daughter-in-law, but He Qi, with his proud character, resolutely refuses. In a fit of rage, Ji Xiantang plots to exterminate the He family, leaving only He Yufeng to escape death. Filled with anger and grief, she vows to seek revenge for her father.
He Yufeng finds the hidden expert Deng Jiugong (played by Ma Yong'an) and becomes his apprentice, learning exceptional martial arts skills and adopting the alias Thirteen Sister, waiting for the opportunity for revenge. Little does she know that Ji Xiantang is far more cunning than she imagined, leading to the failure of her two revenge plans. By chance, Thirteen Sister learns that someone intends to frame the kind and innocent Young Master An (played by Wang Bozhao), and she goes all the way to the Yuelai Inn to warn him.
