Poor Shintaro Imaizumi (Masahiko Nishimura) suffers from severe mental and physical torment, ultimately exacerbating his autonomic nervous system disorder. To treat his condition, he enrolls as a student under avant-garde Ikebana artist Fuka Sonoe (Tomoko Yamaguchi) to learn flower arrangement and dance. Fuka was originally a prized pupil of Ikebana artist Fuka Soumizu (Minako Nagauchi), but a falling out led her to establish her own school. Fuka merges dance with the fundamentals of Ikebana, drawing widespread attention. She prepares for a performance, and to everyone's surprise, the consistently underperforming Imaizumi is selected to participate. During the press conference, Soumizu comes to congratulate them, and the relationship between teacher and student appears to improve. However, Fuka attempts to take advantage of the situation to kill her master, who has often criticized her. Coincidentally, Detective Konosuke Matsusaka (Masakazu Tamura) is present to watch Imaizumi’s performance, making him a witness to the murder case... This film is one of the most highly praised specials in the "Detective Konosuke Matsusaka" series, with a viewership rating of 34.4%.
