Chris Evans will star in the new film "Gifted," directed by Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man series). The film tells the story of Frank Adler, played by Captain America, who was once a teaching assistant at Boston University and is now a shipyard worker. After the suicide of his sister, he adopts his niece Mary—a child prodigy. As soon as Mary enrolls in school, she demonstrates exceptional abilities, but Uncle Frank only wants her to lead a normal life. Mary's grandmother discovers the girl's talent and enters their lives, aiming to shape Mary into a math genius. Thus begins a custody battle.
