Uncle Tian (played by Leung Ka-Yan), Thief Boy (played by Andy Lau), Scalp (played by Tony Leung), Ah Bong (played by Huang Rihua), and Ah Hua (played by Miu Kiu Wai) are five police officers from the same team. They work well together and have achieved remarkable success, earning the title "Golden Five Tiger Generals." Besides being good colleagues, they are also close brothers. Thief Boy and Scalp secretly accepted dirty money from Uncle Tian's brother-in-law—traitor Dong (played by Tong Chun-Yip), while attempting to drag Uncle Tian, Ah Bong, and Ah Hua into the mess. Apart from Ah Bong, the other two have fallen into the trap. Each person receiving dirty money has their own reasons: Uncle Tian wants his daughter to have a better life without becoming a hostess; Scalp wants to send his brother to study in Canada; Ah Hua aims to provide a future for his wife (played by Lam Kit-Ying) and son; and Thief Boy just wants to enjoy life while he can.
