The story takes place by the seaside in Portugal, where a film crew is remaking Roger Corman's classic "The End of the World." However, the new version of the film encounters various difficulties during the shooting process. The director is puzzled by the sudden lack of funding, putting the movie at risk of being forced to stop production. He attempts to contact the producer in Los Angeles to provide an explanation to the entire crew, but for some reason, he cannot reach anyone. He struggles to change the fate of the production being halted, yet, as often in life, things do not go as one hopes, and he feels quite helpless. The plot is simple, yet thought-provoking, and the entire film is immersed in a sense of mystery.
