George (James Purefoy) and his father (Paul Freeman) lead a life of mutual dependence, with a few cows and some acres of land, living quite peacefully overall. In fact, George's father had a legendary experience in his youth when he almost killed a dragon. However, in a moment of crisis, the old man was tragically defeated; although he thrust his spear deeply into the dragon's body, his legs were also devoured by the beast. With his father's unforgotten dream of slaying the dragon, George embarks on a journey to England. Little did he know, upon his arrival, that the English king's daughter, the esteemed princess, had gone missing.
