The Miracle of Birth In the kingdom ruled by the brutal King Herod, in a poor village of Nazareth, a ten-year-old girl named Mary was promised by her parents to an unknown carpenter, Joseph, in hopes of a stable life. Little did she know that her fate would be extraordinary. One day, the angel Gabriel appeared before Mary, announcing that she had been chosen by God to conceive the holy child Jesus, who would become the Savior Christ, the Messiah deeply believed by the Jews. Despite her uncertainties, Mary steadfastly accepted her mission. However, it wasn't long before her pregnancy became impossible to conceal, leading to her being scorned by her community and unable to face her fiancé and parents. She was also at risk of being sentenced to death according to Herod’s law. Fortunately, the angel Gabriel reappeared in Joseph's dreams, confirming Mary's seemingly absurd story. Kind-hearted Joseph, disregarding the gossip of others, bravely stood by Mary's side to support her. The prophecy of the Savior's imminent birth spread through Jerusalem, and the suspicious King Herod felt an unprecedented threat. He ordered everyone to return to their hometowns for a census to identify the prophesied Messiah. Joseph was compelled to return to Bethlehem, and Mary decided to accompany him. On their long journey of over 110 miles, they had to traverse dangerous mountainous areas, wade through rushing rivers, and pass through barren deserts, facing immense hardships. Although they managed to pass through the watchful eyes of Herod's soldiers unscathed, upon reaching Bethlehem, the laboring Mary couldn't find an inn. Ultimately, it was the kindness of a shepherd who offered them a stable, and it was there that Jesus was born! At that moment, nine planets aligned, and the brightest star shone in the sky. King Herod ordered the massacre of all boys under two years old, but thanks to a warning from an angel, little Jesus and his parents timely escaped to Egypt…
