To prevent the malicious manager Bangzi from attending the birthday party prepared for the female singer Guizi, the bandleader Kudo concocted a "spy lie" to deceive Bangzi; unexpectedly, Bangzi took it seriously and informed Guizi. To save her father, Guizi secretly flew to Hong Kong to find him. Influenced by the lie, she felt that everyone was a potential threat and mistakenly sparked a bomb scare on the airplane. A TV employee in Hong Kong, Ah B, encountered Guizi while covering the bomb incident. By accident, he damaged the company vehicle and faced the risk of unemployment. Ah B assisted Guizi in searching for her father, running into Kudo and Bangzi, who were also in Hong Kong looking for Guizi. Guizi was mistakenly believed to be connected to defected Soviet spies and was captured by American agents. Female agent Zuer, along with Ah B and others, infiltrated the intelligence base, working together to dismantle the spy network and rescue Guizi and her father, leading to a happy ending for everyone.
