In Munich, Germany, husband Christof bids farewell to his wife Arianna (played by Margit Carstensen) and their disabled daughter Angela (played by Andrea Schober) as he heads to Oslo for work. However, he makes an unexpected stop along the way to meet his lover and brings her to his country villa. To his surprise, he finds out that Arianna and her lover—his assistant—had already arrived at the villa for an affair. The four soon come back to their senses in the awkward atmosphere and sit down at a table for dinner. Kaste and Gabriel, who are in charge of the villa, watch the four of them with their own distinct emotions. That night, Angela arrives at the villa accompanied by a nanny, and her presence tightens Arianna's already frayed nerves regarding her daughter's disability, creating a tense atmosphere.
The next night, Angela organizes a question-and-answer game called "Chinese Roulette" for all eight people in the villa, dividing them into two groups to ask and answer questions, revealing the hidden secrets within each of them.
