The body makeup artist Zhong Xiaoming (played by Karen Mok), born on the most boring day of the 20th century, has long been hopeless about love and is still single in her 30s. Her father A B (played by Eric Tsang) and her former classmate Jiajia (played by Huang Yi) have a troublesome marriage with a significant age difference.
