This film tells a story centered around the bathing culture of Northeast China. It recounts the journey of an ordinary bath master, Old Wu, from a small town in Northeast China to Hainan, to help his daughter and son-in-law manage an eco-friendly resort in Boao. However, upon Old Wu's arrival in Hainan, his daughter and son-in-law seem indifferent to him and appear somewhat dissatisfied with his presence. Yet, Old Wu doesn't let this bother him. In an effort to revitalize the struggling resort, he triggers a series of unexpected and humorous events. Throughout this process, Old Wu tackles various sudden challenges and ultimately gains the approval of his daughter and son-in-law, fulfilling his promise to protect his family and the beautiful environment despite enduring hardships.
