Maise (played by Kelly Chen) has been in a relationship with her boyfriend Yuji Takahashi (played by Kōichi Nagasaku) for a long time, but Takahashi suddenly goes missing on their wedding day. Maise decides to go to Tokyo to search for Takahashi, while the renovation master Big Brave (played by Ekin Cheng), in an effort to chase the renovation fees Maise owes, decides to follow her to Tokyo. The two, who don't trust each other, arrive at Takahashi’s home in Tokyo, where they encounter the private detective Lin Guiren (played by Tony Leung), who has been following Takahashi. It turns out that Takahashi was having an affair with the wife of the gang member Ito (played by Hiroshi Abe), and thus he has gone missing. The three ultimately join forces, determined to find the missing Takahashi and confront the gang. As the investigation deepens, Maise also uncovers the true identities of Takahashi, Big Brave, and Lin Guiren.
