It tells the story of Emma and Peter, who believe they are at the most important moment of their lives, with marriage, children, and a suburban house, until their respective partners dump them. In their 30s, both fear that they have lost the chance for a happy life, and are horrified to learn that their partners have begun new lives, feeling hopeless and threatened by the prospect of growing old alone. Emma and Peter decide to go all in and devise a plan to end their partners' new relationships and win them back.
