Harvey Keitel will star in an untitled biopic focusing on the notorious mob figure Meyer Lansky. The cast also includes Sam Worthington, Emory Cohen, and Austin Stowell. Alexandra Daddario is in talks to join the cast. The film is written and directed by Eitan Rockaway ([Cloistered Space]), partly based on true interviews with Lansky conducted by Rockaway's father, history professor Robert Rockaway. It tells the story of Lansky living quietly in Miami Beach after being investigated and pursued by the FBI for decades. When Lansky invites young journalist David Stone (portrayed by Worthington) to tell his story, the FBI sees him as a pawn to track down cases involving the concealment of hundreds of millions of dollars. Production is set to begin in August.
