The story takes place in the bustling metropolis of Shanghai, where Hong Meili (played by Wu Junmei) has a happy family, but this family begins to unravel after an accident. Hong Meili knows that her husband's death was not an accident, but a murder orchestrated by wicked people. In her anger and pain, this defenseless woman who has always complied with everything decides to take revenge. With the help of others, Hong Meili acquires a handgun and finds the murderer.
