The highly accomplished Navy Deputy Captain Rustam (played by Akshay Kumar) is on a six-month deployment. Nearing the end of his mission, he returns to Mumbai ahead of schedule as instructed by the command, only to be shocked to discover that his stunningly beautiful wife Cynthia (played by Ileana D'Cruz) is having an affair with his friend Vikram (played by Arjan Bajwa). Furious, Rustam hastily leaves home, returns to his ship to obtain a handgun, and heads to Vikram's house, where three gunshots ring out, leaving Vikram in a pool of blood.
