The story takes place in 1970s Estonia, shrouded in the Iron Curtain. Three young adults engage in the business of trafficking Western goods, living relatively comfortably. Due to an unexpected turn of events, their business is about to be investigated by the government. Driven by their fantasies and curiosity about the Western world, the three decide to cross the Iron Curtain and smuggle themselves into Sweden.
