One day, FBI agents come to request their help. Several women have mysteriously disappeared in Virginia, including a federal agent. Since Father Joseph (played by Billy Connolly) claims to have seen a crime scene, the FBI hopes Mulder and Scully, with their rich experience in supernatural cases, can assist in the investigation. However, as the investigation deepens, Mulder and Scully find that the darkness of the case far exceeds their imagination. This long-time duo faces tremendous challenges... This film is the second theatrical version of the titular TV series.
