This film is based on the true story of Hong Kong athlete Su Hwa-Wei, known as the Hong Kong version of "Forrest Gump," who has won multiple individual and team gold medals at various Paralympic Games in Atlanta, Sydney, Athens, and Beijing. The adult Su Hwa-Wei is portrayed by himself. Su Hwa-Wei has suffered from jaundice since childhood and later developed hearing impairment and spasms, making coordination between his brain and limbs extremely difficult. His parents, Zhang Guozhu and Pan Hong, were very concerned about his future, but he has always loved running. At the age of ten, Su Hwa-Wei met Pan Jianlu, a voluntary coach for Hong Kong's disabled athletics athletes, and his fate changed. Behind his soaring achievements lie hardships that are unimaginable and hard to bear for an average person.
