Incredible things have happened... Ponyland has lost its magic! Earth ponies, unicorns, and pegasi are no longer friends; now only ponies of the same kind stick together. But the idealistic young earth pony Sunny (voiced by Vanessa Hudgens) is determined to find a way to bring magic back to the world and unite everyone like before. She embarks on a journey with the cheerful unicorn Izzy (voiced by Kimiko Glenn) to a faraway land, where they meet the charming and brave pegasus Pip (voiced by Sofia Carson) and Zipp (voiced by Liza Koshy), as well as the mission-driven earth pony Hitch (voiced by James Marsden). Throughout their quest, they encounter numerous challenges, but each new friend has their own unique gift, which might be just what Ponyland needs to restore magic and prove that ponies can make a big difference.
