Kasumi Arimura will star in the live-action film and drama adaptation of the popular manga "Criminals," directed by Yoshiyuki Kishimoto, who won numerous awards in 2018 for "Ah, Wilderness." "Criminals" is a manga work by the renowned author Masahito Kagawa. Kagawa is active in various fields, including film and manga, and has created screenplays for films such as "Scissors Man," "Marriage Fraudster," and "The Sheep's Tree," with representative manga works like "Forensic Morning Glory." "Criminals" began serialization in 2018, focusing on individuals with criminal records and depicting their stories of reintegrating into society. In this adaptation, Kasumi Arimura plays the role of a protector who assists these individuals.
