On Christmas Eve, both big and small TV stations in South Korea rush to report a piece of news: popular actress Yoo Ji-won (Lee Ji-won) has won the Best Actress award at the new Cannes (kannes, not Cannes) film festival, with the awards ceremony set to take place the following day. At Yoo Ji-won's home, her agent (Lim Won-hee) is sternly informing her about the ceremony's details when four guests arrive: Korean-American Dennis, university lecturer Liu, mob boss Choi (Jung Kyung-ho), and film director (Park Noo-shik). Each of the four has a romantic connection with Yoo Ji-won and is using the occasion to propose to her under the guise of celebration.
The four men argue and create chaos, leaving Yoo Ji-won at a loss, but no matter how much she pleads, they refuse to leave and pressure her to choose one among them quickly. Her agent is at a loss for how to handle the situation. In the midst of the confusion, Yoo Ji-won accidentally ends up killing all four men one after another. After the shock, she begins to deal with the bodies with the help of her agent, who is also infatuated with her. Unexpectedly, her sister arrives with a large group of friends disguised as police to congratulate her, while downstairs, two real police officers are "watching closely" her house. Additionally, there are Choi's two subordinates and a thief disguised as Santa Claus hiding in the shadows.
