In a city rich in ancient charm, during the season when cherry blossoms dance, a boy named Guan Geng'er (voiced by Motohiro Yutaro) and his childhood friend Ryoha Natsuki (voiced by Watanabe Mayu) lead a simple and happy life, bickering and hiding their true feelings. As the new school term begins, the handsome, mysterious transfer student Kyougaku Ryouichi (voiced by Ono Daisuke) arrives in Geng'er’s class, capturing the attention of the girls, including the beautiful and reserved student council president Harukawa Kaori (voiced by Hanazawa Kana). Geng'er, who is carefree in nature, has a crush on Kaori, but little does he know that his goddess is already enamored by Kyougaku's beautiful piano performances, while Natsuki's temperament turns increasingly unpredictable like a summer rain shower. Meanwhile, with Kyougaku's arrival, bizarre events begin to unfold, leading the young boys and girls into a dreamy summer... This film is based on the novel of the same name by Mayumura Taku.
