"Detective" tells the story of the protagonist, Da-wan (played by Kwak Si-yang), who has a genius detective sixth sense, and a seasoned detective (played by Sung Dong-il) solving mysterious murder cases together. Da-wan, portrayed by Kwak Si-yang, is the head of a family and runs a comic book store to make a living, while secretly he is a genius detective, managing a fan club and blog focused on unsolved cases and crime analysis in the country. This also marks Kwak Si-yang's return to the big screen in Korea since "Injured" in 2011. Xu Ying-ki plays his highly capable wife in the film. The collaboration between Kwak Si-yang and Xu Ying-ki has fans very much looking forward to it.
