Tom runs a successful auto parts factory. However, as he grows older, Tom knows it's time to find a successor for the company, and that successor is his son Tommy (Brian Dennehy). But Tommy is an unmotivated lazy individual who spends all his time indulging in pleasures and is hardly worth the responsibility.
