Nola Darling is a young Black woman living in Brooklyn, New York. She is in sexual relationships with three men: Jamie, the caring yet overprotective one; Greer, the wealthy but arrogant one; and Mars, the funny yet immature one. All three want to monopolize her affection, but Nola wants to maintain her independence and refuses to choose just one partner.
