The story of "The Adventures of Nico" follows a little swift named Manu, who has always seen himself as a seagull. Under the demands of his strict father, he struggles to learn various seagull flying skills but faces constant setbacks as he just can't seem to get it right. Disheartened, Manu runs away from home and encounters others of his kind during his journey, leading him to rediscover his true identity as a swift.
