Pianist Platon (Oleg Basilashvili 饰) has his wife accidentally kill someone in a car accident, and out of love for her, Platon is willing to take the blame. A week before the trial, Platon rushes home to see his father. On the way, he passes through a typical, noisy station. In the station restaurant, Platon meets the beautiful waitress Vera (Lyudmila Gurchenko 饰). Initially, they clash due to Platon's complaints about the restaurant service, but as they talk more, they find a mutual connection, and Platon even visits Vera's home. Their love begins to ignite in small moments, eventually leading them to fall in love. Platon goes to prison. On the rare family visiting day, Vera travels a long distance to see Platon. They spend an unforgettable night together in a wooden cabin outside the prison.
