The story begins with the Greek goddess of discord, Eris (voiced by Michelle Pfeiffer), a goddess who revels in chaos. She steals the "Book of Peace" and frames Sinbad (voiced by Brad Pitt) for the crime. The prince, Proteus (voiced by Joseph Fiennes), who was tasked with safeguarding the "Book of Peace," is a childhood friend of Sinbad.
