On the boundless international high seas, Red Pirate Ron wreaks havoc with his crew. Lazy Tom and clever Jerry are also on the ship. After a routine chase and commotion, Tom finds a message in a bottle and unexpectedly discovers a treasure map inside. It details the secrets of the Spanish fleet's gold and silver, but it also comes with a terrible curse: if the map is not returned to the bottle and thrown back into the sea before dark, a dreadful misfortune will ensue. In a panic, Tom is about to put it back when Red Pirate Ron snatches the map. This, of course, triggers a conflict between Ron and his brother, Blue Pirate Bob. Amidst the clashing swords and chaos, they miss the moment of sunset, resulting in the pirate ship being occupied by the Spanish ghost ship. After several twists and turns, Tom and Jerry finally reach the treasure island with Red Pirate Ron and encounter the long-lost Purple Pirate; the adventure continues...
