With Christmas approaching, Jack (played by Jonathan Taylor Thomas), who is studying alone in California, plans to take a trip during his Christmas break. However, Jack's father wants him to come home to reunite with the family. Ultimately, under his father's coercion and persuasion, Jack cancels his trip and decides to bring his newly made girlfriend home with him. Just before his departure, Jack's classmates play a prank on him, and he ends up stuck in a Santa Claus costume with strong glue on the inside, unable to get it off. To make matters worse, he is left in a deserted wilderness with no money in his pockets. As the time to meet his father approaches, he realizes that if he cannot get home in time, he will miss out on the promised reward from his father.
