The little-known painter Kirimurano Shinobu (played by Mizu kawa Mami) falls in love and marries Takamura Masaru, who just moved into her apartment, leading a relatively comfortable life. One day, while shopping at a supermarket, Shinobu is caught by a store clerk for allegedly using counterfeit money, and the surveillance clearly records her committing the crime. Shortly after, the arriving detective Kanaro (played by Takito Kenichi) takes Shinobu away, expressing his belief in her innocence and bringing her to a mysterious gathering. There, a person named Iizuka (played by Toyohara Kosuke) hosts the meeting, alongside various individuals including university student Mitarai Ko (played by Senga Ken'ei) and housewife Nakamura Mayumi (played by Sakai Wakana). They have all suffered from doppelgangers, which are illusory bodies that are identical to the original in appearance and memory. These doppelgangers disrupt the original's life, steal their most important possessions, and even ultimately kill the original. How will Shinobu and these victims protect their lives? This film is based on the original work of "Hōjō Haruka" of the same name.
