During a summer vacation in high school, Yuka Hayama (played by Tao Tsuchiya) and nine other classmates wake up from a coma, only to find themselves trapped in an abandoned building in a remote village. While everyone is confused, Yuka maintains a nonchalant attitude. Suddenly, a video camera and television in the corner of the room turn on automatically, displaying corresponding text. The ten people present are forbidden to leave the building; they must participate in the Human Wolf Game. Among the ten, two are wolves, while the other "villagers" must identify and kill the wolves before the time runs out, and the wolves must kill the villagers. Failure to complete the task by the deadline or breaking the rules will result in execution. The young men and women approach the game with a sense of fun, but things take an unpredictable turn... This film is based on the original novel by Ryo Kawakami.
