The aunt, Mikako (played by Kyoko Koizumi), who was supposed to have died 18 years ago, suddenly appears before the melancholy Fuko (played by Tsuji Fumi) without any warning, bringing mixed emotions to the family. When Fuko was just a baby, Mikako triggered a bomb explosion, and it was said that she died in the chaos. In the joyful reunion, Fuko remains cold towards her younger cousin Kana (played by Yamada Moeya), who is still in elementary school. During their brief time together, Fuko keenly notices some issues. The relationship between Mikako and her father seems unusual, and her interactions with her own sister are not harmonious.
