Soon to graduate from university, the beautiful student Hanaori (voiced by Kataoka Mirai) invites her friends Erika (voiced by Taniguchi Ami) and Noriko (voiced by Saeki Masami) to leave Tokyo and travel to Okinawa, planning to stay at her boyfriend Azo's (voiced by Negishi Takuma) uncle's villa for their graduation trip. Upon arrival, they are constantly assaulted by a foul smell reminiscent of a dead body. Soon enough, strange fish with spiny legs invade the villa, moving at incredible speeds and attacking Hanaori and her friends. They quickly discover that tens of thousands of walking fish have landed on Okinawa's beaches, causing enormous panic. Furthermore, Tokyo has also fallen under the reign of walking fish. Concerned for Azo's safety, Hanaori resolutely returns to Tokyo. In this apocalyptic city, how can she find Azo? This film is adapted from the namesake of the horror manga artist Junji Ito.
