This film is Amazon's first Japanese movie, based on the novel "Colorful" by Eto Mori. The protagonist, Kobayashi, has died once, but a mysterious figure who calls himself the "Administrator" tells him that he must "inhabit" the body of a high school student, Kobayashi Ryo, who has also died.
